2. What data we collect
We only collect data you give us directly:
- Booking / enquiry form — your name, phone number, email address, requested date, and enquiry type.
- Phone or email contact — your phone number or email address provided during contact.
We do not collect payment details — all payments are made in person by cash or card.
3. Why we collect it
- To confirm and manage your table booking or event enquiry.
- To contact you about changes or cancellations.
- To respond to your questions.
We do not send newsletters or marketing emails without your explicit consent.
4. Legal basis
We process your data under legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — processing booking enquiries is necessary to operate a restaurant. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask for separate consent first.
5. How long we keep your data
Booking data is kept for 12 months from the date of your visit, then deleted. Emails and messages are kept for 6 months.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Your data may be stored on servers belonging to our email provider (Gmail / Google Workspace), who processes it on our behalf under UK GDPR-compliant terms.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data, unless we are legally required to keep it.
- Objection — object to processing at any time.
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.

8. Complaints
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority: ICO — Information Commissioner's Office.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this document from time to time. The date at the top always shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current version.
